HIP hop sensation Professor Green dived with three-metre-long sharks at the Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire Oaks as part of a bizarre cross-country adventure.

During his Live And Lost adventure – which was filmed for Channel 4 - the London-based rapper had to find his way back to the capital for a gig after being dropped off in a remote Scottish location, using only £20 and a phone.

En route he visited the award-winning aquarium to meet one of his fans who had invited him to dive with the sharks.

The 27-year-old MOBO winner - whose hits include I Need You Tonight – admitted to being ‘scared senseless’ before he took the plunge.

Under the expert supervision of Blue Planet divers, Professor Green – whose real name is Stephen Manderson - shared the giant 3.8 million litre Caribbean Reef display with more than 10 different species of sharks and rays including nurse sharks, lemon sharks, zebra sharks, giant stingrays and huge, three-metre-long sand tiger sharks.

After the dive he was picked up from the aquarium by Hollyoaks actress Victoria Atkin, who plays Jasmine Costello, and taken to Manchester where he went ice-skating with another fan.
