PERFORMING pupils from Helsby Horn’s Mill Primary School held a talent contest and raised £277 towards a new stage.
Helsby Horn’s Mill’s Got Talent took place on Friday, April 16, at the Helsby Ex-Serviceman’s Club, which saw 14 acts battle it out to be crowned champions.
In the junior school The Cheryl Cole Dancers were named winners, and in the infant school Break Dance, took the title.
Michelle Atkinson, of the Friends Of Horn’s Mill, who organised the event said: “All the performances were fantastic and were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
“All the children took part in auditions at school and the final acts were voted by each class to take part in the final, live on stage.
“Thank you to all our supporters and if there is anybody or any company who could possibly donate any money towards our stage we would be very grateful.”
