CHESHIRE Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare and whereabouts of a missing Ellesmere Port man.

Stephen Joseph Dunn, 53, is a single man who lives with his father. He was last seen on the evening of Saturday March 4 around 9.45pm when he left to go to work in Chester City centre.

He never arrived at work and has not been seen since.

Police say it is out of character for Stephen to go missing, and his family are extremely concerned for his well-being.

Mr Dunn is 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, with short dark hair, which is greying.

When he was last seen he was wearing a white shirt, black tie, black trousers, black shoes, a dark-coloured anorak, and a light beige baseball cap.

Mr Dunn did not take any change of clothing with him when he left.

Police enquiries have suggested that he may have travelled to the Liverpool area.

Both police and Mr Dunn's family are appealing to anybody who may have seen him since March 4 to contact Ellesmere Port Police on 0845 458 0000.

Police are also appealing to Mr Dunn himself, if he hears of this appeal, to contact either his family or police to provide re-assurance that he is safe and well.
