Two vehicles have been involved in a collision on the A51 in Chester this evening (November 9).
Commuters face long delays following the accident which has taken place on the roundabout over the A55, on the A51 Tarvin Road.
The A51 is partially blocked and queuing traffic is reported in both directions between Vicars Cross interchange and Barrow Lane junction.
Traffic is also backing up on all approaches at the roundabout as a result of the crash involving a blue BMW and a white Renault Captur.
Cheshire Police are currently at the scene but no further information is available at this time.
