A HEATING and housing maintenance company from Malpas has received a new fleet of 850 vans.

Family firm PH Jones, of Hampton Heath Industrial Estate, Malpas, was established in 1963, and has grown from being a one-man-band to a national company with 28 regional offices, servicing 250,000 properties across the country.

After working with Lloyds TSB’s corporate markets autolease team they were supplied with the vehicles on a contract hire and maintenance basis which will reduce PH Jones’ overall operating costs.

Martin Jones, managing director of PH Jones said: “ The bank has become an integral business partner during that time and has provided us with strong financial support and advice.

“This latest deal means we have an impressive fleet of new vehicles for our growing team of engineers and also helps us manage our costs effectively.

“PH Jones is continuing to expand and develop its maintenance services across the domestic and commercial property and utility metering sectors by providing sustainable design, installation, support services and innovative technologies.”

The new fleet of vans comes at an exciting time for PH Jones with the launch of a new brand representing the delivery of integrated domestic and commercial property services and the provision of multi-utility metering services including innovative smart metering and AMR (Automated Meter Reading) installation.

It is the second deal Lloyds TSB has secured for PH Jones in the last 18 months, following the support of the firm's multi-million pound acquisition of the commercial property services company, Coolfactor Group last year.
