A NORTHWICH family is offering a reward for the safe return of their missing kitten.

Samuel Ryan, seven, and his three-year-old brother Jacob are so desperate to find their missing pal Teddy that mum Linda is offering a £50 to anyone who can bring him back to them safe and sound.

Linda said: 'They both miss Teddy so much it is heartbreaking. Samuel was seven on Thursday and he kept saying it would be the best birthday ever if he Teddy was back home with us.'

Hopes were raised last week when a woman rang the family in Gordale Close, Winnington, to tell them she had seen a couple take the cute little ginger and white striped kitten.

Linda said: 'She was in a car at the lights at the top of Moss Road and saw a man and woman with a pushchair walk up to the brick wall outside the house, pull Teddy through the railings and put him into a large pink bag.

'We can only assume they must have thought Teddy was a stray and they were doing him a good turn taking him out of harm's way.

'But we just want them to know Teddy belongs to a loving family and we are all missing him like mad.' nAnyone who can help is asked to ring Linda Ryan on 07737 258560.

A FAMILY who recently took in a pet cat when the owners moved abroad are distraught following its disappearance.

The three-year-old Serengeti cat, pictured, cream/ silver grey in colour, is neutered and chipped and has been missing since Friday, August 4. She was last seen in the Leftwich area.

Owner Lee Wilkinson, of Lime Avenue, said: 'She was free to a good home as the owners were moving to Cyprus. She seemed perfectly happy but a few days

after starting to go out, she suddenly disappeared.

'I have two children, aged seven and nine, who are on holiday with relatives and they are going to be really upset.

'I'm frightened she might be trying to make her way back to Frodsham where her owners lived. I'm also very concerned because she requires medical attention.' nIf you have any information phone the Missing Pets Bureau on 0800 019 5123 (freephone), quoting reference 125375.
