FOUR people were rushed to Leighton Hospital and two more required on-the-spot medical attention after a head-on crash in Winsford on Saturday night.
Two fire engines from Winsford were called along with four ambulances after a red Peugeot 405 and a blue Vauxhall Cavalier collided on Road One of the Winsford Industrial Estate just after
6.30pm, leaving one women trapped inside her vehicle.
Firefighters released her and a doctor and paramedics were on hand to attend to the injured parties. Police say one man sustained a broken nose and one of the women involved suffered bruising to her arms, legs and head and was kept in Leighton overnight for observations. Another woman involved is believed to be pregnant, but the baby is in a stable condition.
Ambulance staff were unable to confirm if any casualties are still in hospital.
