A FAMILY in Tattenhall are celebrating a special delivery.
In the early hours of Sunday, July 20, Finlay Lewis arrived at the Countess of Chester Hospital to parents Angie Fergus and Daniel Lewis of Boughton, Chester.
This date is special as he will share his birthday with his Tattenhall cousins Imogen, nine, and Lucy, six.
Angie’s brother, Daron Cornes, and his wife Stephanie had a barbecue to celebrate their daughters’ birthdays when they realised the new arrival could also share their special day.
“I just couldn’t believe it,” said Stephanie. “Daniel called us on Saturday night to tell us the baby would be born within a matter of hours. It’s crazy!”
Finlay’s mum Angie was 10 days overdue and had been in labour on and off for two days when Finlay arrived, weighing 8lbs 11oz.
