A HAMMOND School student has a role to play in the Olympic Games in London.
Lindsay Kearns, 15, will sing to athletes on The Globe stage during the afternoon prior to the Paralympic opening ceremony.
The talented youngster will already be in the capital this summer as she has landed a part in the National Youth Music Theatre company premiere of the musical 13 at The Apollo Theatre in London’s West End.
The teenager also recently appeared at the Watford Palace Theatre in the final of the national talent show Britain Does Variety 2012.
