A HOSPICE is asking for support from charitable residents to help organise events to keep vital services going.
Halton Haven Hospice has set up a new team to plan fundraising galas, tournaments and charity challenges to help raise money to provide essential care for people with life-limiting illnesses.
The hospice is now asking enthusiastic Frodsham residents to volunteer to become part of the group called Friends of Halton Haven and dedicate a few hours of their free time to organising events in their neighbouring communities.
Head of fundraising for the hospice, Paula Widdas, said: “We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to come forward and set up a Friends of Halton Haven group.
The group will be responsible for organising fundraising events in Halton and surrounding areas. We will offer friendly professional support as well as help publicising your events.
“All we’re asking for is enthusiasm and a bit of your time.”
