TWO Middlewich organisations are coming together to lay on a series of events during half-term week.

Microchips Youth Club and Middle-wich Community Church have united to entertain youngsters aged five to 16 from Monday to Friday next week.

Ben Alves, MCC's youth pastor, said: 'We've got a blinding half-term set-up. Lots is going on as part of the Impact Youth Group, including football and pool tournaments, dancing, DJ workshops, graffiti workshops, music production and breakdancing classes at Micro-chips. Then on Friday we'll hold an awards ceremony and dance performance at the community church - it should be a great week.'

Impact is open to youngsters aged 11-16, while for younger children aged five-10, the MCC has two main events.

Pastor David Moore said: 'On Tuesday from 2pm we're having a film afternoon and then from 10am-noon on Thursday we're hosting a parent and children's event including a bouncy castle, arts, crafts, face painting and Playstation dance mats.'

To take part in the Impact events, drop in at Microchips, Wheelock Street, and speak to Ben Alves.

The other events take place at the MCC on Brooks Lane.
