GROSVENOR garden centre will be showing visitors how to ‘Sow it, Grow it, Eat it’ with a fun and informative Grow Your Own weekend on Saturday and Sunday 10/11 April between 11am and 3pm.

There will be demonstrations in Grosvenor’s new edible garden and advice on growing herbs, fruit and vegetables. Whether visitors have their own allotment, vegetable patch or just a window box or container, they are sure to be inspired at Grosvenor.

For younger green fingers, there will be the chance to pot vegetable seedling to take home and popular cartoonist, Paul Wilcox, will be on hand over the weekend to create fruit and vegetable caricatures for visitors to take home too.

Every visitor has the chance to win a signed book by BBC TV’s Valentine Warner in a competition which is free to enter.

With a free packet of seeds for everyone who completes the gardening quiz and more information available on planning, planting and production, why not let Grosvenor inspire you to grow your own delicious and nutritious five-a-day this weekend.
