FOUR people including a 15-year-boy are due to appear before Chester magistrates this afternoon, Monday, accused of a series of distraction burglaries across Cheshire.

The group, all from Wrexham, were arrested in Carmarthenshire on Friday morning and subsequently charged.

Elisha Jones, 23, of Hywelfa, Wrexham; Leon Lavell, 19, of Fordowen, Wrexham; Jerry Patrick Berry, 23, of Homestead Lane, Wrexham and the 15-year-old boy are charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to rob.

They are all suspected of committing distraction burglaries at Glebe Road, Cuddington; Towers Lane, Frodsham, Chapel Lane, Kingsley and Alvanley Road, Helsby on May 5.

In addition, they are accused of similar offences at Clifton Crescent, Frodsham, on April 27 and Upton Lane, Chester, on May 6.
