A GOVERNMENT minister returned to Chester to talk about reform of the care and support system..

Ivan Lewis, who is responsible for care services, spoke to 150 people at Hoole All Saints Church Centre on the recently published consultation paper on the reforms.

Those present included representatives from Western Cheshire Primary Care Trust (PCT), Cheshire County Council adult and community services and voluntary organisations such as Age Concern and Chester Crossroads which provide care and support for older people and people with learning disabilities.
