THERE will be no ‘Bah Humbug’ at Telford’s Warehouse on Tuesday as Goldust Productions presents a very different Christmas Carol.
Compère Rory del Rivo, aka Chester’s Neil Kendall, will present a burlesque version of Dickens’ classic tale with the help of artists Vicky Butterfly and Bam Bam Blue.
Kendall said: “Vicky Butterfly and Bam Bam Blue have an ethereal quality like the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. Rory, as Scrooge, is shown the error of his ways!”
The audience are encouraged to come in full Victorian fancy dress for what Kendall describes as a magical Christmas event.
“This calls for dressing up in full Victorian splendour!” he laughed.
The festivities kick off with carols from female trio The Harmonettes, followed by readings from Dickens’s A Christmas Carol by Will Wood.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £12.50, available by calling Neil on 07776 198332.
