GIRLS at Sandbach High School are celebrating another year of outstanding A-level results and gaining places in the country's top universities.
More than 50% gained passes at A and B grades.
Headteacher John Leigh said: 'Our A-level results once again reflect our open entry policy to our college enabling all students to have the opportunity to succeed.
'Their hard work, coupled with the dedication of their teachers, has been rewarded with some outstanding results for which students, teachers and parents are to be congratulated.
'Needless to say I am very proud of our students and wish them continued success and happiness.'
Top performing girls were Sophie Bailey with five A's, Laura Boulton with three A's and a B and Amy Turner and Heather Walker both with four A's.
Sophie, who is going to Nottingham University to study French, German and marketing, said: 'I was stunned and delighted that I have got my place at university.'
Laura is excited at the prospect of studying veterinary medicine at Bristol University. Amy has gained a place at Oxford University to read Spanish and Arabic.
Heather will take a place at Warwick University to study history.
