A GANG mugged a couple in Chester city centre after dark.
The victims, a man and a woman, were on Cow Lane Bridge when they were approached by four men about 10.20pm on Friday, December 28.
The men threatened them with violence and punched the man before cash was handed over. The gang then fled in the direction of Telford’s Warehouse.
The male victim did not require hospital treatment but the victims were left shaken by their ordeal.
Three men, aged between 18 and 23, have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
