HUNDREDS of students from across Cheshire have been celebrating receiving their A-level results at Sir John Deane’s College.
Some 585 upper sixth students received their A-level results yesterday (Thursday).
Principal Andrew Jones said: “It is great to see so many smiling faces around college and, on the basis of this set of results, we hope to maintain the college’s record of being placed in the top 10 sixth form colleges.”
College staff have good cause to be celebrating – with 29 subjects getting a 100% pass rate.
Also celebrating were Sarah Hopwood and Julia Nicholson obtained 5 Grade As.
Emma Haward and Rachel Ward achieved four grade As and one grade B.
Frances Mathews, Charlotte Harrison and Rebekah Hope all achieved one of the highest marks in the country in Health and Social Care.
