A TEEN fashion queen from Frodsham took to the catwalk to raise life saving funds for victims of the Parkistan floods.

Patricia Vinchenzo, 19, of Springbourne, Frodsham, strut her stuff recently in aid of raising money for Francis House and the Pakistan Flood Relief.

“We were so excited about the fashion show – and I in particular couldn’t wait to hit the catwalk and show off the fantastic outfits,” said Patricia.

“The event was in aid of two extremely worthwhile causes and I am so proud to have been part of it all.

“I’m delighted at the total of £700 which we raised.”

Independent Manchester-based Abbey College student Patricia was also one of the models who took part in the charity style event at the Unitarian Chapel in Manchester.

The show saw students from the college modelling traditional dress and fashions from countries such as Malaysia, Nigeria, India, Bangladesh and Vietnam.

The show also included designs from fashion retailer Xpose based in Wilmslow.
