A FRODSHAM flower arranger is celebrating after winning a string of awards at the Cheshire County Show.

Eleanor Griffiths’s creation Ricochet, which incorporated a brass sculpture and was inspired by the movement of a bullet, was named Best in Show in the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies tent.

The prize topped off a successful day for the Frodsham and District Flower Club member, who was also presented with the trophy for Best Use of Colour and won two third prizes for arrangements she had designed with her mum, Gillian Jackson.

Eleanor said: “Quite a lot of time and thought goes into the displays, so it’s lovely to win.”
