FRODSHAM Care presented their 17th Annual Beer Festival at Frodsham Community Centre over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
More than 300 guests enjoyed over 40 beers from brewers as far away as Aberdeenshire and Cornwall.
One favourite was named Dogma from the Brewdog Brewer in Frazerburgh which at 8% strength was the most potent ale at the festival.
There were the usual ‘unusual named’ beers such as Alley Cat Ale, Re-Session, Amnesia, Spring Cottage Biscuit and, from the nearby Wrexham brewers Sandstone, Buxom Barmaid.
On both Friday and Saturday evening the drinkers were entertained by the band Directions.
Chairman Roy Wallwork said: “The crowd was very well behaved and has been complimentary about both the quality and variation of the beer.
“There was a great atmosphere and we would like to thank all who attended and everyone who helped to promote the event.”
The charity has distributed more than £50,000 to worthy causes.
