FORMER royal butler Paul Burrell will broadcast live to 200m people across the US on the day of the royal wedding.

Mr Burrell, who splits his time between living above the family flower shop in Farndon and in Florida, will be filmed in front of Buckingham Palace for American network Fox News.

Diana’s former butler has also become columnist in Heat magazine, giving tongue-in-cheek advice on royal etiquette and what to expect on the big day.

Mr Burrell told The Chester Chronicle previously: “I’m absolutely delighted for William and Kate. I wish them every happiness in the world. William is an amazing boy and always has been. Now we will see the princess’s (Diana) legacy truly unfolding.”

Mr Burrell was working for the Queen in 1981 when Prince Charles married Princess Diana in Westminster Abbey.

“I looked after the wedding party when they came back for the reception,” he added. “I was with the top table – the Queen, Prince Philip and the bride and groom. I served them their wedding breakfast.

“I remember that day so well. It’s etched on my memory. It was so magical and it was a fairytale.”
