A FORMER Frodsham policeman claims he could save householders hundreds of pounds every year.

Retired policeman Mark Higgins, 49, is an authorised distributor for The Utility Warehouse Discount Club and has been saving money for Frodsham and Helsby homeowners and businesses for more than three years.

He said: “My wife and I signed up as customers initially three years ago and I was astounded at the money we started to save each month.

“Since then I have built my own business up. The thing that gives me a real buzz is the great savings we make for people, especially in this economic climate.

“I have pensioners as my customers, neighbours in my own road, family, friends, businesses. It gives me a thrill to know they are saving money each year by switching to Utility Warehouse Discount Club, sometimes this can amount to thousands of pounds where business owners are concerned.”

During his 30-year police career in Northwich and Elles- mere Port Mr Higgins received a Chief Constable’s Commendation for his investigation into an elderly woman who was killed for her pension.

He said: “Just as I did with Cheshire police, I aim to deliver a first-class service to all new customers and all my existing customers.”

The service provides gas and electricity, home phone, broadband and internet and mobile phone packages. For more details, call Mr Higgins on 0800 1313376 or 07940 837210, e-mail markhiggins@telecomplus.org. uk or visit www.telecomplus. org.uk/markhiggins.
