BROWNIES and Guides pulled on their running shoes to raise cash for charity.
Rainbows and Brownies from the Weaver Valley District took part in this summer's national Sport Relief event with a run around Delamere Forest last weekend.
Organiser Steph Kemp, Brownie Guider with the 1st Leftwich Unit, said: 'It was an extra special day for two Brownies from 1st Leftwich unit, Hebe and Imogen Lockyer, as they made their Brownie Promise during an open air ceremony in the heart of the forest.
'Some energetic members of the group then went for an extra mile up Old Pale too! A very enjoyable day was had by all and we hope we have collected more than £300 for Sport Relief when the actual Sport Relief day comes around on July 15.
'The money will go to help vulnerable people leading tough lives here in the UK and in the poorest countries in the world.'
