It's been another busy week at the Chester Chronicle and as Sunday night draws in, darker than ever before, here's the five stories you've been reading during the course of the last seven days.

1. Man who got teenager pregnant gets suspended sentence

The sentencing of an Elton man who carried out two relationships with underage girls was our most read story on the Chronicle website.

The 24-year-old had pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of inciting sexual activity with a child under 16 and one count of abducting a child.

2. Shocking footage of lorry crash

All the talk, all the rows, all the leaked emails. Well, the holidays finally came to Chester.

We were there to bring you what was happening as the truck came into town.

Thousands came out to see the red truck, although some were far from pleased it turned up at all.

4. Hoole's peeping tom

A disturbing story about two women who have been targeted by a man looking through their windows.

Cheshire Police issued a warning and asked any other residents who had been affected to get in touch.

5. Jezza duets in the Port

Jeremy Kyle was in town, and not to find new recruits for his TV show either.

We revealed how he, and Sam Bailey, of X Factor fame, were in fact in Ellesmere Port to sing a duet.

It's all for a good cause, thank goodness.
