IF you go down to the woods today, you might be in for a big surprise from the reception class at Bunbury Aldersey CE Primary School.

The youngsters, in Elaine Crotty’s class, often go out and about in Bunbury woods to find out more about the world around them.

This half term the children have focused their studies on superheroes.

Mrs Crotty said: “Mr Freeze captured the class teddy bear and Batman and Spiderman helped save him.

“Luckily we have our own superhero vehicles outside to travel in.”

Teaching assistants in the class are Collette Walker, Elizabeth Lyndsay-Gould, Jan Fulbrook and Frances Lawford.

Another outing last term was a visit to Cheshire Farm Ice Cream in a minibus.

Next week’s First Class photograph will be from Shocklach Oviatt CE Primary School.
