THE first term at Duddon St Peter’s CE Primary School, near Tarporley, has been magic for the new reception class pupils.
Teacher Claire Knight said: “They have settled really well and we had a lovely first half term.
“We have been looking at magic and have our own little magic house in our classroom where we invent magic recipes and create magic menus.
“We’ve also been studying spiders and spiders’ webs.”
The 17 youngsters in the reception class are also taught by Claire Entwhistle on Fridays and teaching assistants Diana Kinsey, Lynne Nicholas and Lesley Garnham.
