Pupils at The Firs School in Chester performed not one but two Nativity plays this year.
The Early Years nativity play was called All About a Baby while pupils from Year 2 to Year 6 performed their nativity play, with angels, kings, shepherds, citizens and inn keepers in abundance, at the school’s Christmas service at All Saints Church.
Headteacher Lucy Davies said: “The children were amazing in the two nativity plays that we held this year, singing and acting beautifully. It was lovely to see how creative arts can bring a story alive for the younger children.
“At the Firs School we pride ourselves on encouraging learning through creativity as well as more traditional forms of teaching.”
