YEAR 6 children from The Firs School in Chester took part in the National Primary Maths Challenge organised by the Mathematical Society.

More than 86,000 pupils took part from more than 2,400 schools.

The challenge comprises a series of tests which give lots of opportunities for using and applying maths and logic.

Six of the year group were awarded the highest gold grade.
