A fire at a children's play area in Ellesmere Port is believed to have been started deliberately.
Fire crews working cover duty at Ellesmere Port Fire Station were called out to the small blaze which happened just before 1pm today (Monday June 2) at the play area on Delamere Drive.
They used a hose reel jet to put out the fire and nobody was injured in the incident, but crews say they believe it was an arson attempt.
