ANDREA Stevenson will today unveil a plaque at Aldgate tube station to commemorate victims of the July 7 bomb that killed her sister Fiona.

And Fiona's family have revealed her memory will live on through a fund to help the Third World children who won her heart.

Fiona, a lawyer, returned from four month voluntary stint in Belize, where she advised the government on how to set up child protection legislation, shortly before her death.

Now the family have set up a charity in Fiona's name, with about £7,000 already raised to pay for Belize children to learn to swim - many drown each year - and to open up the opportunity for some to take up a career diving with tourists.

Fiona, 29, left her London home at 8.20am on Thursday July 7, 2005, to take the tube to her office in The Strand.

When she didn't turn up for work her family spent the most terrible week of their lives as they waited for news.

The following Friday police informed them Fiona's body had been identified. The dead eventually numbered 52, including seven in the Aldgate blast that killed Fiona.

She had been due to visit Andrea at her home in Hoole. Instead, the family had to make plans for her funeral.

Andrea, 26, who now lives in Rossett with partner Ian Watson, said: 'Me and dad will unveil the plaque. I'm a bit nervous. We've been in shock for so long it's a blur. We've not been able to think about anything.'

Andrea felt unable to speak to The Chronicle immediately after the tragedy but wanted to use the first anniversary as an opportunity to pay tribute to her only sister, who would have celebrated her 30th birthday on June 22.

She said: 'Fiona lived at 100 miles an hour. She did everything with such enthusiasm. Nothing was ever too big. She was so generous with her time and support for her friends and family. She was always someone you could count on.

'Professionally she was so dedicated and hardworking. She put in a huge amount of hours and so many weekends as a defence solicitor. Often she would be working on a Saturday night until 3am.'
