The fiancée of notorious criminal Charles Bronson revealed she will do whatever it takes to have a baby with Britain's most violent prisoner when she appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning (August 29).

Former Coronation Street star Paula Williamson explained that she and her jailbird lover, who grew up in Ellesmere Port, will have to rely on medical science for them to conceive as they have been denied conjugal visits.

Presenter Richard Madeley asked Paula why she wants a child with 64-year-old Bronson, who has spent most of the last 43 years in jail because of repeated violence towards prison staff and fellow inmates - his record includes threatening to eat an inmate and kidnap, our sister paper The Mirror reports.

But his his fiancée of six months said: "Because I'm in love with him, I'm going to marry this man, this is happening, we're waiting on a date now."

But, cutting to the chase, Richard asked: "How do you plan to get pregnant? He's been denied conjugal rights so I assume you'd have to have a specimen of his sperm?"

"I think it would have to be a case of medical science would help," Paula, who fell for him after the two became pen pals, admitted.

"I'm 37 now and the realisation hit me that, what if he does spend the next three years in prison?

"He's 64 now and we might want to have a baby, that's something we've seriously considered."

And Richard questioned whether Paula has really considered what having Bronson's baby would mean.

"We know that criminal behaviour is quite often linked to genetics, what if you have another Charles Bronson?" he asked.

"No one in his family are criminals," she reasoned.

Paula has had small roles as a Weatherfield Hospital nurse in three episodes of Coronation Street and played a stripper in Emmerdale, as well as a doctor in Hollyoaks.

"He's a theatrical character and clearly you are too, is this a big piece of theatre going on right now?" Richard asked.

"This is real, I genuinely love the man," she insisted. "We sat on our last visit and said it's time to come home now."

Bronson popped the question on the phone earlier this year and sent a diamond engagement ring to her home.
