STRONG, intelligent and loyal women were the subject of discussion at Chester’s Queen’s School.
Ffion Hague, wife of the former Tory party leader William, now Shadow Foreign Secretary, was a guest at the school as part of the Shell Chester Literature Festival.
She gave a talk on her recently published book, The Pain and the Privilege – Women in the Life of Lloyd George.
A 250-strong crowd enjoyed Ffion’s entertaining and informative talk.
At a reception Ffion mingled and chatted to the guests who were entertained by the school’s saxophone quartet.
She later signed copies of her book.
