FAMILIES living at homeless charity Save the Family, in Northop Hall, will benefit from sports field floodlights.

Thanks to fundraising from the Chester Lions Ladies, the new £700 lights will mean children and parents will be able to play sports in the evenings.

The Chester Lions have supported the charity for 30 years.

Annette Williams of Chester Lions Ladies said: “Save the Family changes lives. It rebuilds hope and transforms the fortunes of homeless families. Chester Lions Ladies is delighted to help through donations or practical help.”
