INTERNATIONAL showjumpers Richard Davison and William Whitaker will dazzle the crowd at the launch of a new equine centre in Cheshire.

The first phase of Reaseheath College’s multi-million equine unit is complete, and the starring duo’s appearance on Tuesday, April 13 marks the first in an exciting series of public events scheduled for Reaseheath’s brand new indoor arena.

British team captain Davison, who has competed in three Olympics, two World Equestrian Games and four European Championships, will display training techniques in both dressage and show jumping.

Meanwhile, Whitaker – a member of the famous British showjumping family and future Olympic hopeful – will demonstrate ridden techniques on both young and experienced horses.

Reaseheath’s new indoor arena can seat up to 200 spectators.

The unit is part of a £2.3m investment which also includes a purpose-built round pen for natural horsemanship, American barn-style stabling, solarium and car parking.

Tickets for the launch event are priced £15 adults, £10 students. Doors open at 7pm, to book call 01270 613242.
