An Aldford company has raised almost £6,000 for a charity that sends sick and disadvantaged children on a dream holiday to Disneyland.

Staff at employment law and HR company Ellis Whittam raised £5758.00 for Chronicle-backed Miles of Smiles.

Sue Thomas from the charity collected the cheque.

She said: “We cannot thank Ellis Whittam enough. To raise this amount of money for the charity helps us tremendously and will be going towards the trip to Disneyland Paris in May 2016.

“We look forward to sending photographs of the children enjoying the trip and benefiting from the much appreciated hard work of fundraising.

“Many thanks to all the staff at Ellis Whittam for undertaking participation in raising money outside of their normal working hours.”
