Ellesmere Port superstore supports Salvation Army Christmas meal

People in Ellesmere Port who may otherwise be on their own on Christmas Day will have a helping hand from Asda through the Salvation Army.

Anne Pryor of Asda presented Lt Louise Brown and Mike Frost from the Salvation Army with a cheque for £300 from the Asda Foundation towards the Christmas Day Meal organised by the church.

Lt Brown said: “We are most grateful to Anne and all those at Asda in Ellesmere Port for the support they give to The Salvation Army throughout the year.

“This money is going to help us to provide a great day for many people who would otherwise be spending Christmas on their own.”
