A flasher exposed himself in front of a dog walker in Ellesmere Port on New Year’s Eve.

He also made indecent remarks to the 55-year-old woman who was ambling through Rivacre Valley Country Park.

Cheshire Police have launched an appeal to find the offender, who could not be found after an extensive search.

The victim was walking her dog through the park when the flasher approached her at 10.50am on Thursday.

He initially engaged her in conversation before exposing himself and making inappropriate comments.

The man, believed to be in his late 20s, then ran off in the opposite direction.

A description of the flasher says he was white, 5ft 10ins and of very slim build, with shoulder-length greasy hair and a prominent pointed nose.

He was wearing a red and maroon two-tone North Face jacket and jeans.

PC Roy Price said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the description of this man, or who may have seen the offence take place to contact police.

“If you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area matching this description, please also contact police.”
