A careers open evening is on offer at West Cheshire College on Wednesday, November 18.

The event will take place from 3pm to 7pm at the Ellesmere Port campus.

Whether you are about to leave school or looking to improve your career prospects, the college says the event is the perfect opportunity to find out more about full time courses, apprenticeships and higher-level courses available through studying or employment.

Employers including Vauxhall Motors, DoubleTree by Hilton, Chester Races, Sainsbury’s, Marks and Spencer, Brio Leisure, Cheshire based Great Bear Distribution, Arriva and international company Ecolab, also located in Cheshire, will be exhibiting with details of their job opportunities.

Course tutors will be available to talk about the full and part-time courses which are available and the college’s apprenticeship team will be on hand. People can also apply for current vacancies.

Universities attending will include Chester, Bolton, Edge Hill, UCFB, Salford, Liverpool John Moores and Manchester Metropolitan.

Nigel Davies, principal and chief executive at the college, said: “As the leading provider of training for young people, adults and apprentices across the West Cheshire region we are here to provide support and advice to anybody about their future career.

“Our careers open evening is a great opportunity to meet with our course tutors and our apprenticeship team as well as universities and employers to understand what path is right for you.”
