Candidates in all four constituencies in Cheshire West and Chester are turning up at the counts in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Winsford and Northwich.

The Labour party prospective parliamentary candidate for Eddisbury James Laing was one of the early birds at the Winsford Lifestyle Centre but the party's candidate for the City of Chester, Chris Matheson, didn't make an appearance at the Northgate Arena until about 2.45am.

Stephen Mosley, the city's Conservative candidate rushed home for a shower after a day on the campaign trail and claimed to be 'feeling more relaxed'.

At the Civic Hall in Ellesmere Port, Labour's Justin Madders, Ukip's Jonathan Starkey, Lib Dem's Trish Derraugh and the Green Party's Michelle Palmer have all been spotted.
