Visitors to the Forum Shopping Centre near the town hall on Saturday, February 21 should not be alarmed at the sight of a yellow clad figure with helmet and visor.

A members of the Rotary Club of Chester will be dressed in an Ebola disease protection suit to collect for the Ebola crisis appeal. Shoppers are urged to donate generously so that further monies can be sent to continue the worldwide support against the scourge of this terrible disease in West Africa, which continues to threaten to spread further afield.

Peter Sumption chairman of the organising international committee of the club said: “There is a great need to support survivors in the affected areas particularly where so many children have been orphaned through losing close relatives in this overwhelming epidemic.”
