A HOST of spring-time fun will be on offer at Blakemere Craft Centre’s Easter extravaganza.

The fun will begin with a free Easter Egg Frenzie on Good Friday, March 29, where children will be challenged to grab as many coloured balls as they can in the allotted time and win a treat.

Blakemere’s annual Easter Egg Trail will open from March 29 to April 14 around the site at Sandiway.

Pick up a trail form for £1 from Blakemere’s office, or Saffi Boutique or the Saddler’s Kitchen, which are both located at Blakemere. Find all the eggs, mark off all the countries and be entered into a draw to win prizes.

Blakemere manager Ginny Brooks White said: “Don’t miss out on these great free activities to add something a bit different to the Easter weekend.”

There will be further free activities on Good Friday in the fountain area of Blakemere, including balloon modelling, games, children’s entertainer, egg rolling, baby chicks and donkey rides from 10am to 5pm.

Also over the Easter weekend there will be a food and craft fair and free circus workshops on Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1, with a selection of local produce and handcrafted items.

The food and craft fair will be open 10am to 5pm both days with free admission and parking.

The free circus workshops will be open both days from 11am to 4pm. The Easter Egg Frenzie will start at 10.30am on Friday, March 29.
