A ROAD had to be closed in Cholmondeley this morning after a minor road traffic incident.
Emergency services from Malpas and Whitchurch were called to Cholmondeley Road in the village just before 8.50am on Thursday (May 23) where a car had overturned into a hedge.
Specialist equipment was used to cut the female driver out of the vehicle and she was later taken to hospital where she received treatment for minor injuries.
Normal activitity resumed on the road shortly afterwards.
