FOUR mums will have their hands even more full than usual from next month - they are starting up Winsford's first twins and triplets group.
Karen Spanswick, Lea Forrest, Kerry O'Brien and Liz Moore's group was officially launched on Friday and will meet at Christ Church Hall on Crook Lane every Monday afternoon from January 8.
Ten sets of twins and three triplets have already signed up and Karen is looking for more members and volunteers to help run the sessions.
Karen, of the Shires Estate, said: 'There are four of us, all mums of twins, and we've been trying to get the group started since last January.
'I'm really looking forward to it starting but it's a big job and there are only four of us, so anyone who wants to help is more than welcome!
'We are also inviting expectant parents to come along, we really want to create a network of support for parents and expectant parents in the town.'
Kerry, whose sons Harvey and Kyle will be two on Saturday, added: 'It's been a lot more difficult than we thought getting set up, we've had to learn a lot in the last year or so. But we're looking forward to it. We want to enjoy the sessions and spend time with our children.'
Karen, whose twins Declyn and Saskia have recently turned two, added: 'I'd like to say a big thank you to Fiona Mallinson, a community development worker from Winsford, who has helped us from the start. We didn't know how to go about setting the group up but she's given us some great advice.
'I'd also like to thank everyone who has helped fund us, because without them it wouldn't have been possible.'
