DOG walkers in Kelsall have been warned to clean up after their pets after the village’s parish council reported a reoccurrence of the unsightly problem.

The Kelsall Green Recreation Committee reported to the council meeting that the problem was ongoing and that a change in legislation could be considered.

Clerk Natalie Read said: "Dog fouling is just not going away. Can we apply for a by-law? This is a recreation area not a dog fouling area. Could we restrict dog walkers to the footpath and using a lead?"

A new sign-posting initiative is being looked into by members of the committee.
