DODLESTON Pre-School pupils had an eggcellent day out when they went for an Easter egg hunt on the village green.
All the children dressed up in fancy dress and went out hunting for the chocolate treats.
The children also enjoyed an Easter bonnet competition, where they put their creative skills to the test by making their own hats.
The children and adults also took part in an Easter hamper raffle, which the pre-school ran with the local playgroup.
Pre-school chairman Andrea Brown said: “It was a lovely morning. We had lots going on and all the children and adults had a brilliant time.”
Dodleston Pre-School is in such high demand it has decided to offer an additional session from Easter.
This will be a further two and a half hour session on Tuesday afternoons. Further afternoon sessions are being considered for 2011. In addition, all sessions will increase from two and a half hours to three hours from September.
Andrea added: “The afternoon session is in response to buoyant numbers attending the pre-school, parent demand and Cheshire West and Chester’s desire to offer flexible arrangements for parents and children.”
