DODLESTON Local History Group presents a lecture on The Poulton Dig on Tuesday at 7.30pm.
Delivered by archaeologist Mike Emery, director of Poulton Research Project the lecture will reveal details of Cheshire life between 7000BC and 1650AD.
The dig, which was featured on Channel 4’s Time Team programme, reveals one of the richest collections of archaeological finds from Cheshire including almost 600 excavated burials.
Admission is £2 (children £1) on the door and includes light refreshment,
