BOSSES at Wulvern Housing, the company which controls Crewe and Nantwich's 5,500 council houses, have evicted a tenant they claimed caused mayhem in her neighbourhood.

A woman has lost her Clough Walk home in Crewe after a court was told she continually held loud parties, got drunk with friends and visitors, verbally abused neighbours and refused to do anything to curb her ways.

Neighbours reported her to Wulvern Housing in March.

Wulvern employed a specialist solicitor to deal and a hearing at Crewe County Court ordered that she should lose her home.

Dave Williams, tenant chair of Wulvern Housing, said: 'I'm delighted that we have been able to resolve this case for all the neighbours concerned.

'No-one should have to put up with or live close to irresponsible, aggressive and drunken behaviour.

'We have acted quickly and taken firm legal action to support our other tenants and are pleased that they came forward with the complaints in the first place.'

Jon Bailey, housing manager, said: 'This case shows that Wulvern takes all such complaints seriously and will work with our resident to get the evidence we need to take cases to court.'
