THE Highways Agency has warned of problems on two Chester area roads this week
M53: Junction 7 to Junction 8 Ellesmere Port (bridge improvements) – various lane closures and speed restrictions in both directions overnight for the refurbishment of two railway bridges, plus installation of new safety barriers and lighting. Project continues until December.
M56: Junction 3 Bowdon View Bridge (bridge works) – Bowdon View Bridge is closed until further notice.
A clearly signed diversion is in place.
M56: Junction 15 Ellesmere Port – closure of the westbound exit slip road to the M53, overnight from 10pm until 5am each night until the end of July, for resurfacing.
