An overturned lorry shut a slip road on the westbound carriageway of the M56 for around three hours this Thursday morning (January 7).

The exit slip at junction 10 for the A49 at Stretton was closed while the incident, thought to have happened at around 6.15am, was dealt with.

Highways England tweeted shortly before 10am that all repairs have been completed and the slip road has reopened.
